Death + TPD
Death coverage is paid in the event of death by accident or illness of the insured person occurring after they first start paying insurance coverage.
The Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) policy covers the total and irreversible inability to engage in any work or occupation that may provide a gain or profit and which requires the assistance of a third party to perform ordinary every day actions. As with life insurance, TPD insurance allows for the repayment of the outstanding capital due according to the percentage chosen when the policy was taken out.
Work incapacity
Work Incapacity (WI) coverage is paid in the event of incapacity, i.e. when the insured person is forced to completely interrupt their professional activity, whether employed or not, by medical prescription, as a result of illness or accident and whose state of health prohibits the exercise of any professional activity, provided that on the date of cessation of work they are actually carrying out a paid professional activity.
